Sitting here typing away on the tattered keys of my slowly dying mac book, I am again reminded never to despise small beginnings…

You know I have found the hardest part about any dream, is picking up the pen and actually putting it to paper. It’s like sculpting out of dust while in those moments which feel like a continual series of wasted efforts. It’s so much easier to sit back and scroll through countless hours of social media feeds, becoming complacent about your vision and dreams. We can sit for hours in a state of mindlessness as we watch everyone else in the world achieve a God-given goal but us. We can sit there and give ourselves a list of adequate excuses to why we don’t have enough resources, time, or energy to fulfill that dream. Or we can get up off our blessed assurance and make something out of what we do have currently placed in our hands. I know how daunting it can be and I am right there with you…

The person that inspires me to do this the most is no other than my amazing husband. He is probably the most positive person I know, always pushing towards the God dreams in His heart… even if that means walking through seasons of hardship, difficulty or being completely reconstructed from the ground up. As I sit here twenty plus weeks pregnant in my comfy bed typing away on my withering mac book. He is sitting at a desk with his guitar in hand working through melodic inspirations within his makeshift home studio (also known as our bedroom). He never stops dreaming and pursuing, and I absolutely love that about Him! Because honestly, if it were up to me I would have probably let go of a lot of those God dreams a long time ago!

So maybe you are sitting there reading this with endless resources at your fingertips, or perhaps like us you are attempting to create regardless what you do, or do not have! Whatever your circumstance or life situation currently is, its time to begin! Never despise small beginnings friends, do something today that will put you one step closer to achieving your hearts desire. At the end of the day, you will be closer than you were before you decided to simply start.
